Sin embargo, la situaci\u00f3n que se est\u00e1 viviendo actualmente en Ucrania, as\u00ed como la reacci\u00f3n de zonas de tr\u00e1nsido como lo es el canal de Suez ha vuelto a poner en la diana al mundo del transporte por mar. De hecho, varias cabeceras de prensa y blogs no especializados han comenzado a hablar de este tema que hoy queremos explicar. \u00bfQu\u00e9 es el <strong>recargo de guerra o war risk<\/strong>? \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 sube el Suez Canal Surcharge o recargo de Suez?<\/p>\n<h2>Qu\u00e9 es el recargo de guerra o war risk<\/h2>\n<p>El hecho de que el continente europeo hubiese tenido una \u00e9poca de paz constante -al menos para buena parte de la regi\u00f3n- desde la II Guerra Mundial ha hecho que muchos olviden cuestiones que fueron habituales en el mundo del transporte por mar. Es m\u00e1s, no hay que mirar tan atr\u00e1s para recordar la aplicaci\u00f3n del conocido como Recargo de Guerra, o War Risk en ingl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>La guerra de los Balcanes, esa que hoy vuelve a ser noticia por el conflicto ucraniano, esa que supuso si cabe la mayor tragedia europea de finales de los a\u00f1os 90, ya supon\u00eda que se aplicase el mismo al transporte de mercanc\u00edas. ese <strong>recargo de guerra o war risk<\/strong> ha vuelto a cobrar protagonismo, y con la guerra en Ucrania son ya varias las compa\u00f1\u00edas que lo incluyen entre los costes.<\/p>\n<h2>Suez Canal Surcharge: otra vez es noticia el canal de Suez<\/h2>\n<p>No parece que el <strong>canal de Suez<\/strong> quiera destacar en las portadas informativas por las buenas noticias. Es m\u00e1s, empezamos a acostumbrarnos a lo contrario cada vez que aparece en la prensa generalista. De hecho, esta semana han sido <a href=\"https:\/\/www.20minutos.es\/noticia\/4964312\/0\/el-canal-de-suez-sube-las-tarifas-a-los-barcos-que-transportan-gas-y-a-los-petroleros-en-plena-invasion-en-ucrania\/?autoref=true\">varios los medios<\/a> que ya han alertado de las subidas del conocido como recargo, m\u00e1s conocido por su nombre en ingl\u00e9s: Suez Canal Surcharge.<\/p>\n<p>La subida ha sido por el momento selectiva, dirigida a los barcos petroleros y gaseros. Sin embargo, la crisis del precio de los combustibles que se est\u00e1 viviendo a nivel mundial no presagia noticias positivas para el resto del transporte que lo requiere para funcionar, as\u00ed como el propio sector mar\u00edtimo.
