El Canal de Suez, uno de los puntos neur\u00e1lgicos para el tr\u00e1fico de mercanc\u00edas, hac\u00eda frente a principios de esta semana al encallamiento de un buque que est\u00e1 provocando <strong>\u201cel mayor atasco mundial de tr\u00e1fico mar\u00edtimo\u201d<\/strong>, seg\u00fan los expertos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>La Autoridad del Canal de Suez decid\u00eda el jueves suspender de manera temporal la navegaci\u00f3n, mientras se avanza en los trabajos para reflotar el carguero. Un buque, el Ever Given, de 400 metros de eslora y una capacidad de carga de 224.000 toneladas.<\/p>\n<p>Los trabajos est\u00e1n siendo complejos y las alertas y los primeros efectos del colapso ya han comenzado a entrar en escena. <strong>Una situaci\u00f3n que contribuye a aumentar la presi\u00f3n en un sector como el del transporte mar\u00edtimo<\/strong> azotado desde hace meses por importantes subidas en los precios de los fletes, escasez de equipos y espacio.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Los primeros efectos del colapso en el Canal de Suez<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Descenso de los <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elespanol.com\/invertia\/mercados\/materias-primas\/20210326\/incertidumbre-mercado-petroleo-embotellamiento-canal-suez-semanas\/568943607_0.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">precios del petr\u00f3leo<\/a>.<\/strong> Este mismo jueves se registraba una bajada superior al 4%. El precio del barril de Brent -referencia en Europa- se situaba en los 61,68 d\u00f3lares por barril. El West Texas Intermediate &#8211; referencia en Estados Unidos- recog\u00eda un descenso en su cotizaci\u00f3n del 5,09%, cercano a los 58,08 d\u00f3lares.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alza en los precios y retrasos en las entregas.<\/strong> De prolongarse la situaci\u00f3n de bloqueo al tr\u00e1fico en esta v\u00eda prioritaria de enlace entre Europa con Asia y Ocean\u00eda se empezar\u00e1n a registrar subidas notables en los precios y demoras en los plazos de entrega de mercanc\u00edas.*<br \/>\n<h6>*Seg\u00fan las estimaciones, el eje comercial entre Asia y Europa mueve cada a\u00f1o m\u00e1s de 23 millones de contenedores (datos anteriores a la pandemia).<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alteraciones en las escalas a puertos del Mediterr\u00e1neo y aumento de costes.<\/strong> En el caso de Espa\u00f1a, este incidente obligar\u00eda a tener que rodear por el sur de \u00c1frica, omitiendo escalas en puntos del Mediterr\u00e1neo para que los buques se dirijan de forma directa al norte de Europa, destino de la mayor\u00eda de estos cargueros. De darse esta circunstancia, para que las mercanc\u00edas lleguen a Espa\u00f1a desde esos destinos, los costes extra se dejar\u00e1n notar.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saturaci\u00f3n de llegadas a puerto. <\/strong>El restablecimiento de la normalidad provocar\u00e1 una gesti\u00f3n compleja de las llegadas de barcos y mercanc\u00edas para su descarga en los puertos.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Estimaciones y cifras a ra\u00edz del encallamiento del Ever Given<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><strong>&#8211;<\/strong> 8.231 millones de euros -343 millones de euros a la hora- es el <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merca2.es\/2021\/03\/26\/bloqueo-canal-de-suez\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">valor<\/a> de las mercanc\u00edas bloqueadas a causa del incidente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;<\/strong>M\u00e1s de 200 barcos atrapados a la espera de recuperar la <a href=\"https:\/\/elpais.com\/economia\/2021-03-26\/cuanto-cuesta-taponar-una-ruta-global-como-el-canal-de-suez.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">movilidad <\/a>en el Canal de Suez.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;<\/strong>12% del comercio mundial paralizado.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211;<\/strong> 13 millones de barriles de petr\u00f3leo al d\u00eda en circulaci\u00f3n por este enlace.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Las causas del incidente<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>El operador del buque, Evergreen Marine Corp, con sede en Taiw\u00e1n, indic\u00f3 desde el primer momento del incidente que el portacontenedores -que iba en direcci\u00f3n a R\u00f3terdam (Holanda)- <strong>encall\u00f3 \u00abprobablemente tras ser golpeado por una r\u00e1faga de viento\u00bb<\/strong>.
